Donald Trump Jr. Joins Polymarket as Advisor Amid U.S. Reentry Push
Polymarket has secured an investment from 1789 Capital, a venture firm where Donald Trump Jr. serves as partner. The former president's son will join the crypto prediction platform's advisory board as part of the deal. Discussions began 18 months ago but were delayed until Polymarket established a clearer regulatory pathway for U.S. operations.
The New York-based company recently acquired derivatives exchange QCEX for $122 million, signaling its intent to reenter the American market. TRUMP Jr. praised Polymarket as an essential tool for cutting through media bias, though he concurrently advises rival prediction platform Kalshi.
